British Gymnastics floor and vault competition
On the 3rd of April Burnham had 2 sets of gymnasts competing in 2 different venues. Coaches Lauren, Fran, Keshia and Alex took gymnasts to Pinewood Gym club to take part in the British Gymnastics floor and vault competition.

The gymnasts performed lovely routines and won many medals; Shaun Jones took gold on the vault and bronze overall, Arun Kumar-Sharma took bronze on the floor, Ella Flynn took 2nd on the vault, Laura Perring took 2nd on the floor, Brooke Mitchell took bronze on the floor and Mirabell Ness took gold on the floor and gold overall!!

Bucks county grades
Coaches Sarah and Charlotte took the A Squad gymnasts to Milton Keynes to take part in the Bucks county grades. The 8 girls who took part all passes their grade and we were amazed with the amount of medals the gymnasts picked up;

Megan Akehurst-Grade 14 got silver on range and conditioning and bronze on the vault
Elissia Chapple-Grade 13 got silver on the bars and beam
Paris Hancock-Grade 13 got gold on the vault
Letitia Brown-Grade 13 got gold on bars, bronze on vault, bronze on beam, bronze on range and conditioning and silver overall!!
Chantelle Canty-passed her grade and managed to nail her front somie from the beam that she was having difficulty with
Maryam Ali-Grade 12 got gold on floor, bronze on the beam and silver overall
Anya Dhesi-Grade 12 got bronze on bars, gold on beam and bronze overall
Grace Ridley-Grade 12 got silver on vault, gold on bars, silver on beam, silver on floor and gold overall
Maryam Ali did well to get to the competition after the car she was travellling in broke down on the M25. She did well to get to the venue late and still perform such beautiful routines to gain some medals.
 
The club is so proud of all the hard work the gymnasts have put in to achieve this result! 7 girls are now through to the regional finals on Sunday the 10th of April at Phoenix Gym club. We would like to wish them all good luck!!!
